Continental Review Workshop of PIDA-PAP 2 process and selection criteria
The Integrated Corridor Approach and associated selection criteria were approved at Specialised Technical Committee meeting in November 2019 and have been applied to the PIDA-PAP2 process in 2020. A Continental technical review workshop of the resulting PIDA-PAP 2 priority list was held online on 12 November 2020. The TA to AU-ISM was involved in the application of the selection criteria, in particular the Job creation criteria where the job estimates were made by the sectoral Non-Key experts.
The workshop led to the validation of the PIDA PAP2 process and priority while comments and reservations of member states were acknowledged.
PIDA-PAP 2 Public-Private Partnerships Training Program
A Training on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) has been delivered by practitioner Trainers mobilised through the TA to AU-ISM. The Training Program is essential to establish standards of knowledge, understanding, and skills development in the PPP field that are highly valued by governments, private sector firms, and financial institutions. The curriculum designs targets francophone and anglophone areas.
